Groundbreaking Of P7-Billion Panguil Bay Bridge (Random Pics)

DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar and Korean Ambassador Han Dong-Man led this morning’s groundbreaking and capsule laying ceremony for the P7.3 billion Panguil Bay Bridge Project in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

The bridge project which will connect Tubod in Lanao del Norte and Tangub City in Misamis Occidental will be implemented by DPWH-Unified Project Management Office (UPMO)-Roads Management Cluster II (Multilateral) under the Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund (KEDCF) Loan No. PHL-18.

In case you don’t know, once the Panguil Bay Bridge is finished, it will shorten travel time between the mentioned provinces from 1 hour and a half to just seven minutes.

 

 

The construction of the bridge will begin this November and is expected to be complete by October 2021.
