In wake of Trump's win, Palace adopts 'wait-and-see' stance

MALACAÑANG is taking a “wait-and-see” stance on the potential economic impact to the country's business process outsourcing (BPO) industry after billionaire Donald Trump is elected president of the United States.

“While his campaign might have raised some concerns, especially in the BPO sector, the reasonable response is to wait and see what the new administration's policy pronouncements will be,” Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella told reporters in a text message.
