The Abandoned ‘Disney World' Of The Philippines
We always dreamed of going to Disneyland and exploring the wonders of it. But did you now that the Philippines could've had its own Disneyland Park years ago?
Fantasy World in Lemery Batangas Philippines was intended to be the Disneyland of the Philippines, but this beautiful work was left unfinished due to its one main reason. It was designed to be the grandest theme park in the country but was never finished and everything remained just a fantasy.
It is located in Lemery Batangas, just four-hours drive away from Manila. Built in 2011, it was once owned by a businessman.
According to some source, The Japanese owner and businessman who built the park had financial problems and had to stop the construction. Fantasy World was left unfinished, waiting to be magically transformed into a happy and lively castle.
INSIDE THE CASTLE
Entrance to Fantasy World is at P1,000 for up to 10 people. If you're a solo traveler, you'll have to pay the same amount to get in. The place is good for picture taking if you wanted your background to be in medieval age or a princess or prince living in a castle.
The visitors can enjoy a medieval-themed castle with colorful rides, a tower, beautiful garden and other attractions such as tree houses connected by a hanging bridge.
