Philippinerevolutions.com, the official website of Communist Party of the Philippines and New People’s Army released a statement exactly on their 50th anniversary to stop their armed struggle against the government.
However, the statement is not posted by any officials of the CPP-NPA, but by a hacker who’s a member of Anonymous PH.
Pinoy Hack News uploaded the screenshot of the said website, showing a letter with a sign from Professor Jose Maria Sison.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) wants the proposed Mega Manila Subway operational by 2022, even if just partially.
“Target po natin na ma-reach ‘yung partial operability ng Metro Manila Subway sa 2022 bago po mag-end ang termino ng ating Pangulong (Rodrigo) Duterte,” DOTr Head of Communications Goddes Hope Libiran said in a report on Thursday.
The P300 billion-underground train project will ferry passengers from Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City to Manila International Airport in Parañaque in just 40 minutes.
The subway will run 30 kilometers across 14 stations and will also pass through Mandaluyong, Taguig, Makati, and Pasay.
Moreover, provisions of a few kilometers will be alloted for possible creation of links between the Mega Manila Subway, LRT-1, and another proposed subway system in Makati's business district.
The Mega Manila Subway is expected to be fully operational by 2025.
Experts from Japan will help the DOTr in constructing the subway system.
